Slowly, over time, the concept of 'strangers' began to shift, becoming an almost unrecognizable term. So often, the strangers that we'd meet on the road would treat us like friends and I began to think that they actually were. Then I would end up thinking that all strangers would be our friends, just as soon as we'd start a conversation. This cycle was new and sometimes made me feel strange, like there was an epic version of my life following me around, and all I needed to do to be happy was jump the line and join another conversation. It was like all people, all their stories were mine. Like I myself had lived all their lives, and that just by listening to them, I would remember, I would feel it all again.
