The day that Donald J Trump was elected President of the United States was strange. It was mostly strange because of the serendipitous event that took place for me. Two Canadians, Mat and Megan from near Niagara Falls, Ontario approached our camper in a beach side parking lot in Oregon and introduced themselves to us the morning that our new president was revealed.
We'd be traveling with them for almost 2 months, along the coast and into the American South West. Americans on an American road trip, now joining forces with two Canadians. There was life outside of my country.
