This night has THE MOST HILARIOUS story attached to it. Side note: I saw my first black widow here. Okay, so. Mat and Meggo, Jeremy and I all slept in beef (the canadian's van) because it got to like 10 degrees that night. We wanted to be warm! So, in the night something t-e-r-r-i-f-y-i-n-g happens. We all wake up, at the exact same time to the sound of somebody...right outside the van. Nobody says a word, until I whisper, "do you hear that" and everyone responds "yes"- fully awake. Heart stopping. We don't move. Jeremy and Mat start to talk about what it might be, what might be happening, if the door is locked, etc. Mat thinks he hears somebody open our van door. Then, we hear a stream, like water hitting the dirt. "they're syphoning gas" I say to everyone, totally sure that is what is going on at this point. Nobody knows what to do. Right as we fall silent again, somebody pushes, with force, the back door open. "HEY" ...
